1. What this policy covers

This policy explains the cookies, browser databases and similar technologies used by the SOUL website and progressive web app. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

2. Essential storage

We use essential storage to keep you signed in, protect requests, remember consent and accessibility choices, maintain playback state, install the PWA and prevent abuse. These functions are necessary for the service you request and cannot always be disabled without signing out or losing features.

3. Offline media

When an eligible member downloads music, encrypted media chunks, a non-exportable device key and a time-limited entitlement licence are stored in the browser’s IndexedDB storage. Downloads are intended to be purged on logout, account deletion or expired access and may also be removed by the browser when storage is low.

4. Analytics and diagnostics

With the applicable consent, SOUL may use PostHog to understand aggregate feature usage and Sentry to diagnose errors. We configure these tools not to collect journal text, full payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive profile fields. You can withdraw optional analytics consent through available privacy settings.

5. Provider technologies

Razorpay, Supabase, Cloudflare Turnstile, LiveKit and other providers may set or access storage when you use checkout, authentication, abuse prevention or live features. Their use is governed by their own policies and is limited to the feature involved.

6. Your controls

Browser settings can remove or block cookies and site data. Doing so may sign you out, delete offline music or prevent checkout, playback and other features from working. You can also clear SOUL site data from your device settings.
